Plum dumplings

Wash the plums well and clean the seeds. If the plums are large, they can break in two.

Boil water with sugar in a pot. When it starts to boil, make a small fire and put cinnamon. Put the plums and cook for 2 minutes. Remove to a strainer and allow to drain.

In a large pot, boil the 7 cups of water and salt. Malai, white flour and semolina are mixed together. When it starts to boil, pour the water lightly and mix it quickly with a whisk, taking care not to become lumpy. Let it boil for about 15-20 minutes, so that it acquires a thicker consistency. Remove from the heat and allow to cool as much as possible from the composition and shape by hand.

Put the oil in a pan and heat gently. Pour the breadcrumbs and sugar, mix well, leaving it on the fire until the breadcrumbs start to change color a little. Extinguish the fire and set aside.

With wet hands, take it out of the composition, flatten it, put the plum / half a plum in the middle and form a ball, suitable for the sea.

Put them in the breadcrumbs pan, roll them to catch all the breadcrumbs and then take them out in a bowl. If you prefer, you can add a little more sugar before serving.
