Polenta recipe with sausages from of 13-12-2007 [Updated on 28-08-2018]
Yesterday by chance I found myself at lunchtime at home, and my grandmother, who lives next door, was in the process of making polenta with sausages. I have never made polenta and therefore I could not miss the opportunity to learn how to prepare polenta from a teacher like my grandmother!
Here is his recipe for polenta with sausages, it's a marvel!
How to make Polenta with sausages
Brown the crumbled sausage in a non-stick pan with a little oil.
On a plate, prepare the diced cheese with grated pecorino and a handful of pepper.
Put a saucepan with 1 liter of salted water on the stove.
Bring to a boil and only then slowly pour in the yellow flour.
Stir as you pour the flour vigorously with a wooden spoon so as not to form lumps.
Continue cooking for about 8 minutes over very low heat.
Now add the crumbled sausage, diced cheese, grated pecorino and pepper.
Keep boiling water handy to add if the polenta starts to harden too much.
The polenta will be cooked when it is easily detached from the sides of the pot.
Serve the polenta with the nice steaming sausages on the plates.
And here is the cook with a nice plate of polenta in her hand :)
