Strudel with apples, almonds and raisins

For the dough, mix the flour with 1 tablespoon of melted butter, egg, salt and water. Knead the dough until smooth, shape into a ball, place in a bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Leave the dough to rest for 45 minutes. .

Meanwhile, heat the oven to 200⁰C.

For the filling Melt 30 g butter in a pan and brown the breadcrumbs. Put the raisins with rum in a bowl, cover and leave to soak for 15 minutes. Mix the apples with the raisins with rum, almonds, cinnamon, 100 g sugar and browned breadcrumbs.

Spread a kitchen napkin and sprinkle with flour. Place the ball of dough on top and spread very thin so that you can distinguish the pattern of the kitchen napkin. Grease the dough with 1 tablespoon melted butter. Spread the filling over the dough. and smooth, leaving the side edges and the bottom edge free. Lift the napkin from the shorter side and roll the strudel with the napkin. Press the bottom edges well with your fingers, as well as the side edges.

Grease the pan with fat and place the strudel in it carefully. Melt 10 g of melted butter and grease the strudel with it. Bake for 30-40 minutes. After it is ready, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
